Hi there! I’m Ina (e-nuh) the voice behind Ina’s Travel Tales. I’m a mom of three wonderful kids, a dedicated wife, a passionate storyteller and introvert. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to the comfort of home, finding joy in the familiar routines of life. But as they say, life begins at the end of your comfort zone, and that’s where my journey-our journey-begins.
Before the world turned upside down by the pandemic, my husband and I made it a point to explore the world together, just the two of us. We shared some incredible adventures that are etched in my memory. Travel was our escape, our way to reconnect away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We cherished each trip as a way to experience new cultures, try new foods, and find a bit of peace together – just us two.
But as we began planning our first big family vacation, something we were all incredibly excited to officially plan the world stopped because of Covid. The homeschooling, working from home, and the constant concern for the health and safety of our loved ones. Travel became a distant dream as we focused on keeping our family safe and grounded.
A New Chapter: Family Adventures
Now, as the world begins to find its footing again and restrictions ease, we’re finally ready to embark on a new chapter in our journey-traveling as a family of five. The kids are older now, and we’re eager to introduce them to the wonders of the world beyond our doorstep.
Ina’s Travel Tales is a chronicle of this new adventure. Here, I’ll share our experiences as we plan, pack and explore together. I’m learning how to adjust from the ease of traveling as a couple to the complexities and joys of traveling with three children in tow. It’s a new kind of adventure, full of challenges, laughter and unforgettable moments.
Through this blog, I hope to inspire other families to embrace travel, even if it means stepping out of your comfort zone. Whether it’s discovering a new culture, trying a new dish, or simply making memories that will last a lifetime, the world has so much to offer- especially when explored together as a family.
